Debra, Gina, Rachel

Episode #86: December 25th, 2025

THE GOLD

“Skinny60 helped me understand the difference between structure and rigidity. The “Good, Better, Best, Not Perfect” philosophy helped me enjoy the structure in a more flexible way.”

Debra Carr

Member of the Skinny60® Community

“I have Lupus, and I was on a lot of medication. After doing Skinny60, my levels were so much better. Inflammation was down, my sleep and energy was amazing, and I lost 38 pounds! I haven't had a lupus flare up in five years. My doctor said: Whatever you’re doing, keep it up!”

Gina Smith

Member of the Skinny60® Community

“With Skinny60, I lost 34 pounds, inflammation decreased, my hair and skin improved. I didn't have anxiety, and my A1C went from borderline pre-diabetic to normal. My doctor was like, I normally only see that kind of change with medication.”

Rachel Burch

Member of the Skinny60® Community

“The coaching made me conscious of how my thoughts, emotions, and behavior patterns were informing my choices. The calls kept me honest, and helped me see myself in ways I hadn’t seen before. Witnessing other women in similar situations made me feel safe. It was easier to look at things that are challenging to see.”

Member of the Skinny60® Community

“The program taught me to make time for me. I had to make my health my number one priority, and it made me so happy to do that. I'd never given myself permission to have that kind of commitment to myself. I could do it for work or family. But, when it came to something that was going to help me, I couldn’t do it. The value of making an investment in me was my biggest takeaway.”

Gina Smith

Member of the Skinny60® Community

“People kept saying “It’s hard to lose weight over 40”. Well, I was 45 and in perimenopause when I found Skinny60, and it was so easy to lose weight and transform my body with this program. People tell me I look younger, and I feel like I have the power to control my body. I’m so glad I listened to my heart and didn’t listen to the negative talk. I wanted to lose weight, I believed that it was possible, and I made it happen.”

Rachel Burch

Member of the Skinny60® Community

“The Skinny60 food is so delicious. My family and friends all love it. It’s so great having this repertoire of really great healthy food to make, which I still do at least once a week. And there is so much variety. I used to just make a smoothie for breakfast, and now I have all of these other options like the Breakfast scramble.”

Debra Carr

Member of the Skinny60® Community

“The Skinny60 community made me feel like I was a part of something. The stories of perseverance and encouragement from other members kept me going. We were all cheering each other on.”

Gina Smith

Member of the Skinny60® Community

“The “good, better, or best, not perfect” part of Skinny60 was huge. It gave me peace around food. It was permission to play and do it my way while still sticking to the structure. I didn't have to learn everything at once. It gave me room to breathe.”

  • Over 40 and want to lose weight? You can—without dieting or GLP-1 medications. I’m talking with Debra, Gina, and Rachel—three members of the 60-Day Reset—about how they shed the pounds and reached their best health eating more, not less!

  • Debra needed to lose weight to qualify for surgery. In her 60s, dealing with digestive issues and burnout, she just couldn’t do it. Focusing on gut health was a game-changer. A vegan for 35 years, she finally got strategic about nutrition, tuned into her body in new ways, and shifted her relationship with food. The results: 25 pounds gone along with bloat and reflux, a lot less inflammation, and a happier, healthier life.

  • A lifelong struggle with lupus had Gina in and out of hospitals since she was a kid. Doctors recommended healthier diets but she didn’t want to give up comfort foods. Seeing herself in a photo in her 50s, though, she knew it was time. Discovering recipes she was excited to eat and a community of people she could relate to made all the difference. She lost 38 pounds, cut back on meds, and hasn’t had a lupus flare-up in 5 years.

  • Rachel had been on some kind of diet since she was 12. She'd tried everything from Weight Watchers to keto to a cabbage soup detox! At 45, she wanted to build a perimenopause plan. A health coach herself, she knew a lot about nutrition but needed help putting it together. The missing link for her was letting go of thoughts and beliefs that were holding her back. By nourishing her body—particularly meeting her protein needs—she dropped 55 pounds. She reversed a pre-diabetes diagnosis, and everything in her closet fits again.

  • They key for all of them: Letting go of perfect, and deciding It has to be me.
