It Has To Be Me Episode

Better Health and Vitality Over 40

Deanna Vansickel, Polly Drago, Toni Raynes

Episode #44: March 6th, 2025

THE GOLD

“This was the perfect program for me because it was research-based and it followed a methodology that I believed in, and you taught me how to do this stuff and then I could do it on my own and not have to pay lots of money or go to anybody else to figure it out.”

Deanna Vansickel

Member of the Skinny60® Community

“I’d put on 20 kilos and couldn’t take off the baby weight. I was feeling tired and dragging myself through life. I lost 30 pounds on Skinny60® and have so much energy.”

Toni Raynes

Member of the Skinny60® Community

“There's so much noise and different ideas about diet. I had tried various diet programs, counting calories, and losing a few pounds, feeling good, then going back to habits that weren't the best. It was a cycle that was not working well for me. I needed something that was more sustainable, that was delicious, and had a strong scientific backing.”

Polly Drago

Member of the Skinny60® Community

“It's a choice to either feel well or be sick. I don't have hot flashes when I eat this way. I don’t have to worry about my shoulder or knee pain. My LDL dropped 30 points and I've maintained it.”

Deanna Vansickel

Member of the Skinny60® Community

“Five days into Skinny60, I suddenly woke up feeling refreshed after being exhausted for years. Better gut health does everything. I feel lighter, calmer, and happier, and it makes everything easier. My mood is better, and I'm so much more engaged with life.”

Toni Raynes

Member of the Skinny60® Community

“My arms and legs just felt lighter, I was less stiff with less joint pain. I felt the reflux go away. I was able to fuel my body for the first time, and take in things that actually made me feel better, and not just avoid foods. My cholesterol went down 30 points. I didn't realize how much a gut reset would help my mood. I was calmer and I had a more positive mood. It wasn't something I was looking for. It just sort of happened. And that was fabulous.”

Polly Drago

Member of the Skinny60® Community

“I’ve struggled with constipation since I was a child. Going to the restroom every day was like a heroic journey. My cells feel like they're happy and jumping around because I feel alive.”

Deanna Vansickel

Member of the Skinny60® Community

“With Skinny60, you learn and then you become self-sufficient. The tools that this program gives you helps you for the rest of your life.”

Toni Raynes

Member of the Skinny60® Community

“The community is a huge piece of the success of the program. The Facebook group or the Zoom calls. Everyone is very supportive, they're not judgmental or critical. It’s a very safe space, and in the community we're all rooting for each other.”

in THIS EPISODE

  • Toni, Polly, and Deanna—three members of the Skinny60® community—share how improving their gut health was the key to living their best life over 40.

  • After years of failed diets and lingering post-pregnancy weight, Toni was exhausted and dragging her way through life. Within five days of starting the program, she was waking up energized and excited to tackle the day. Within two months, she’d lost 30 pounds, and had a new lease on life!

  • During the pandemic, the stress of Polly’s work as a nurse led to snacking on junk food, and other habits that resulted in persistent acid reflux and joint pain. The science-based approach of Skinny60® appealed to her as a medical professional. By nourishing her body strategically and improving her digestion, she lifted her mood, lost weight, and took back control of her health.

  • Deanna was also desperate to hit reset. After years of burnout, chronic constipation and inflammation, she was adamant about finding something sustainable that she could do on her own. Initially skeptical, she experienced life-changing results with the SK60® System. She lost 20 pounds, her pain and hot flashes disappeared, and she poops every day!

  • Key for all three women was how Skinny60® gave them the nutrition knowledge, additional cooking skills, and confidence to make smart food choices for life—without the stress of restrictive diets or passing fads.

  • Staying flexible and embracing the “Good, Better, Best, Not Perfect” philosophy of the program was a game-changer. Letting go of having to get everything right, they all came to see that lasting success isn’t about perfection—it’s about simply making the next better choice.
